Sheppard Pratt Health System, a private non-profit health system located in Baltimore, Maryland, provides compassionate solutions to help those suffering from mental illness recover and get back to their lives. We offer a full range of mental health, substance use, and special education services throughout Maryland, to meet the needs of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Our patient-centered treatment approach, combined with our legacy of clinical excellence, is what truly sets us apart from other health systems, on both a local and national level. Because we are a free-standing system focused solely on mental health treatment, healing, and recovery, we are able to provide our patients with the specialized care they need in a supportive and compassionate environment. Through our own programs and services, as well as our affiliate and partner relationships, we strive to provide our patients with a continuum of care that can include inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient referrals, and housing and rehabilitation services, as needed.
