Streetwise

Streetwise Inc. is a non-profit corporation which was founded in 2002 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Initially Streetwise Inc.’s primary focus was on assisting substance abusing youth. Now Streetwise Inc. has developed into a full social and mental health service delivery agency serving the Albuquerque Metro Area.

Currently Streetwise Inc. offers an array of behavioral health services. Further information can be found by clicking the Services tab. The Board of Directors shall be responsible for overall policy and management of the business affairs of the Corporation.

The Board of Directors is comprised of diverse community members with a special interest in the Behavioral Health field who serve to support viable economic growth and stability.
We dedicate ourselves to serving the best interest of each consumer.

We will not discriminate between consumers or professionals based on age, ethnicity, national origin, sex, creed, religion, disability, handicap, preference, or other personal concerns. We will maintain an objective and professional relationship with each consumer. We respect the rights and views of other mental health professionals. We will end services or refer consumers to other programs when appropriate.

We will evaluate our personal limitations, strengths, biases, and effectiveness on an ongoing basis for the purpose of self-improvement. We will continually attain further education and training. We hold respect for various institutional and managerial policies, but will help improve such policies if the best interest of the consumer is served.
