Surgical Information Systems (SIS)

Built to meet the demands of anesthesia and surgery, Surgical Information Systems (“SIS”) provides software solutions that are uniquely designed to add value at every point of the perioperative process. Developed specifically for the complex surgical environment, all SIS solutions are architected on a single database and integrate easily with other hospital systems. SIS’ complete perioperative solution is proven to support hospitals’ goals of helping increase operational efficiencies, improve financial performance, and deliver better patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care. – See more at: http://www.sisfirst.com/about/#sthash.mSnBv7uK.dpuf

As the simplicity of our name suggests, we at Surgical Information Systems (SIS) believe in transparency; in doing what we say and saying what we do: delivering surgical information solutions to healthcare providers. Our commitment to deliver on promises made to our clients and each other drives everything we do. Our story began with a small group of individuals at a leading healthcare staffing organization. They noticed the unique needs of surgery and anesthesia were not being properly addressed in the development of Electronic Health Records. Thus, SIS was born.

Since that day in 1996, SIS has grown to serve the needs of nearly 3,000 surgical facilities in over 10,000 operating rooms across the United States and Canada. Our deep understanding of surgical services has allowed us to develop proven solutions and services that improve the financial, operational, and clinical performance of those we serve. We are pioneers with a history of industry firsts, but we don’t rest on our laurels. Healthcare is constantly changing, and we change with it. We continue to innovate using input from our clients and the market in order to meet their evolving needs.
