Clinical Oncology

Texas Oncology

Since 1986, Texas Oncology has helped patients achieve “More breakthroughs. More victories”® in their fights against cancer. We deliver high-quality cancer care with leading-edge technology and advanced treatment and therapy options. An independent oncology practice with more than 345 physicians and 135 sites of service throughout Texas and southeastern Oklahoma, we’re a pioneer in community-based cancer care. Texas Breast Specialists and Texas Urology Specialists, which focus on all areas of breast and urologic care, are a part of Texas Oncology.

With Texas Oncology’s community-based services, patients have the convenience of receiving most or all of their medical services and support services under one roof, in the comfort of their own communities. Texas Oncology medical teams specialize in medical oncology, hematology, gynecologic oncology, pediatric hematology and oncology, and radiation oncology. Patients are treated with today’s most advanced, effective cancer technologies, therapies, cancer treatments, and full-service pharmacies.

Texas Oncology patients have the opportunity to take part in some of the most promising clinical trials in the nation for new drugs and treatments for a broad range of cancers. Through its affiliation with The US Oncology Network and the US Oncology Research Network, Texas Oncology participates in innovative clinical trials from Phase I through Phase IV, and has played a role in the development of 43 Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved cancer therapies.

Texas Oncology physicians are supported by talented and professional associates who are sensitive to the needs of cancer patients and their caregivers. Most cancer centers provide a wide range of supportive services and programs to address patients’ individual psychological and emotional needs – such as counseling, support groups, educational programs, and nutritional guidance.
