West Georgia Counseling & Assessment

West Georgia Counseling & Assessment Services has been servicing families through the Department of Family & Children’s Services since 2000. The agency also now services youth through Troup County Juvenile Court and MAAC. West Georgia Counseling & Assessment Services is composed of highly credentialed and experienced staff. Providers meet with families weekly and in their homes to provide the most convenience to the families we serve. West Georgia Counseling & Assessment Services is based in Troup County, but also serves counties throughout Regions 4 and 8.

West Georgia Counseling and Assessment Services is a family focused, community based social service agency that provides a variety of services to those with substance abuse, mental health and family issues. We work with a diverse population including children, youth, and adults. In 2015, our Agency obtained a three year accreditation through CARF International. Also in 2014 our agency changed leadership when the owner of the business at the beginning of the fiscal year sold the agency to its current owner.

To promote positive change by providing comprehensive assessment and therapeutic invention services to all families and youth that we serve. We affirm that this continues to be the mission of this agency and reflects the core values in which we believe. We will continually review our mission statement should the direction of services change.
