Vocera Chief Medical Officer Named “Health IT Change Agent”; Company Honored with eHealthcare Leadership Award for Best Overall Internet Site

The company’s chief medical officer, M. Bridget Duffy, MD, has been named an inaugural Health IT Change Agent by Health IT Outcomes and will be prominently featured in the publication’s November issue.

In addition, Vocera has received a 2014 eHealthcare Leadership Award in the “Best Overall Internet Site” category. The company will be recognized during a special awards presentation at the Eighteenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference, November 3-5, 2014 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Health IT Outcomes Change Agents are key personalities and providers that are leading the charge for positive change when it comes to leveraging health IT. The publication introduced the concept this year as a way to honor highly influential individuals who are pushing conventional health IT boundaries and challenging the status quo. Dr. Duffy was recognized for her tireless work assisting hospitals and health systems with deploying innovative health IT solutions that restore the human connection to healthcare.
