Nov 13: EMR / EHR Support Representative

HealthCo Information Systems is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open EMR / EHR support position in our Tualatin, OR office. This position will provide service and support via telephone and e-mail to our clients relating to the GE Centricity Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Centricity Practice Solution (CPS), and to the customer’s computer network.

Primary Duties
– Represent HealthCo and its products in an ethical, professional and enthusiastic manner to prospects, customers, company staff, business partners, consultants and associates, and any other organization or entity to which you come in contact.
– Maintain appropriate product and industry knowledge for effective customer service and support activities.
– Actively consult with appropriate supervisor for service or problem solving if a servicing event is unfamiliar to you.
– Provide accurate customer service updates to the Call Tracking System in response to customer problems and their resolution.
– Work cooperatively with others to resolve customer problems and issues.
– Answer and respond to all customer phone calls and e-mails assigned to you.

Required skills and experience
– Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction.
– Knowledge and experience administrating Windows 2003/2008 server and Windows XP pro/Vista/7 operating systems; including understanding Active Directory and its role within a domain.
– Working experience with SQL 2005/2008 and/or Oracle 10g/11g database administration.
– Familiarity with IIS and JBoss administration and understanding of their function within an intranet setting.
– Working knowledge of MS Office, including Access.
– Experience with printer configuration, TCP/IP connectivity, various backup methods.
– Proficient in accessing systems remotely using such tools as RDP (Terminal Services), Citrix, and VPN.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to effectively multitask.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Care, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience/training.

Preferred skills and experience
– Prior experience with Centricity EMR and/or CPS is a big plus.
– Experience creating and modifying Crystal Reports.
– Familiarity with HL7 and interface engines.  source
