Vericle Signs Agreement with IngagePatient to Offer Patient Engagement Platform
Targets Physical and Behavioral Health Market with Best-In-Class Patient Activation and Practice Management Capabilities
Vericle, Inc, an electronic health record and medical billing enterprise software company, will integrate IngagePatient’s comprehensive patient engagement platform to support and extend their suite of solutions for independent medical practices. Both companies have agreed to terms that will solidify their partnership for the next three years.
“We considered a variety of third party providers, but no one has been able to come up with the intuitive, comprehensive, Apple and Android-compatible platform that IngagePatient offers,” says Yuval Lirov, chief executive officer for Vericle. “Our partnership with IngagePatient supports our mission to provide the most innovative healthcare technology solutions available to our national base of independent medical practice owners.”
According to Lirov, Vericle had continuously expanded its scope of software services to help independent healthcare practice owners remain independent and grow faster and more profitably. “Our product functionality has evolved from billing and revenue cycle management, to time and teamwork management, to compliance and electronic healthcare records (EHR), to patient relationship management,” says Lirov. “We grow by both developing unique software algorithms and integrating with best-of-breed most advanced solutions possible.”
According to Justin Neece, IngagePatient’s president and chief executive officer, IngagePatient will offer Vericle its mobile platform including patient scheduling, registration, messaging, bill payment and more to allow patients the freedom to interact with their providers on their own terms.
“We designed our cloud based, mobile platform to support any healthcare environment. We are excited to apply IngagePatient to behavioral health, chiropractic, and physical therapy,” says Neece. “Our job is to provide partners like Vericle with a comprehensive tool set that makes sense, improves workflows, reduces costly operations, and ultimately, facilitates effective coordination of care to benefit both providers and patients.”
The companies have launched an eight-week integration process and expect to make the platform available to the more than 2,600 clients in January 2015.
