Oct 27 : How I Got Epic ClinDoc Certified Without Committing to a Full-Time Career

emr consultants

There is no doubt about it that the Epic certification topic is the hottest conversation among EMR consultants.

It’s a lifetime dream for most EMR consultants these days. The reality is that it is close to impossible to obtain a certification without committing to a 2-year agreement with a Healthcare IT company (only 3 companies in the industry have the privilege of sending people to get certified without a client), full-time employment with a hospital, or a client who falls in love with your services and decides to sponsor you with no strings attached.

More than ever before, there is now a big battle between zero-experience and experienced EMR consultants for Go-live and training positions. It is becoming absurd to be part of that crowd. It is getting to the point that EMR recruiting companies are pumping out zero-experience consultants who do not even speak English. How crazy is that in an industry in which communication is priority?

The problem is that this mixed crowd of zero-experience and experienced consultants is getting bigger and bigger by the hour, and they don’t have a way to escape from that mix.
