Office Practicum and ClearTriage Announce Partnership

medsphere

Office Practicum, a leading provider of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) software, is pleased to announce its integration with ClearTriage, an online decision support system for pediatric triage nurses. ClearTriage is based on Dr. Barton Schmitt’s telephone triage protocols, the trusted source for telephone decision support for more than 20 years. The new online service makes it easy for Office Practicum customers to use the appropriate protocol for every call, ensuring safety and consistency of care.

Within Office Practicum EHR, a triage nurse can now quickly launch the user-friendly, browser-based ClearTriage solution in order to identify and use the most appropriate triage protocol. No additional software is needed to use the protocols, and notes are saved directly to Office Practicum. The online solution offers 45 protocols not found in the book version, and incorporates regular updates and new features.

“This integration continues Office Practicum’s rich history as a leader in meeting the specific needs of pediatricians across the country,” stated Pete Minio, Product Manager for Pediatric and Primary Care Solutions. “By offering ClearTriage through our EHR solution, Office Practicum clients may now utilize the recognized standard in pediatric telephone triage protocols electronically, harmonized within their existing workflow.”

“ClearTriage has worked with triage nurses across the country to create a solution that makes it faster and easier to document triage calls while providing peer-reviewed guidance to the caller. We are excited to partner with Office Practicum, providing an even simpler and more intuitive experience for their customers,” said Dave Schmitt, President of ClearTriage.
