OmniComm Systems® to Present EHR to EDC eSource Strategies at eClinical Forum Webinar

OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OmniComm) (OTCQX:OMCM), a global provider of clinical data capture technology, announced that it will present at the eClinical Forum “Birds of a Feather” webinar on the topic of “eSource Strategies Between Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Data Capture (EDC)”.  The presentation will focus on industry drivers for EDC to EHR integration, and review feedback from a recent eSource market survey conducted by OmniComm. OmniComm will also provide a proof-of-concept demonstration on how data can be pulled from an EHR system into the TrialMaster® EDC technology.

Integration between EHR and EDC is an evolving industry initiative to further streamline processes, reduce redundancy, expedite timelines, and contain costs in conducting clinical trials.  However, there are significant implementation challenges involving data privacy, data standards, business workflows, and stakeholder collaboration. OmniComm’s presentation will explore various implementation alternatives to this quickly evolving trend.
