Oracle and CI4CC partner to advance AI innovation in cancer care

Oracle Health and Life Sciences has partnered with the Cancer Center Informatics Society (Ci4CC) to advance AI-driven innovation in cancer research and clinical care. The collaboration will integrate Oracle’s AI-powered healthcare technologies with Ci4CC’s nationwide network of cancer centers and Initiatives Program to enhance cancer treatment and data interoperability.

The two organizations will collaborate to create an oncology-focused EHR system that seamlessly integrates clinical and genomic data to enable more personalized cancer treatment. The partnership will also explore AI-powered approaches to improve clinical trial design, advance real-world evidence models, and enhance precision oncology platforms.

“Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide, but AI and data science are proving to be powerful tools in the fight against it,” said Seema Verma, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences. “By combining Ci4CC’s extensive expertise and network with Oracle’s AI-enabled healthcare technologies, we can accelerate discoveries that bring us closer to curing cancer.”

For Ci4CC, the collaboration supports its mission to strengthen partnerships among cancer centers, researchers, and industry innovators. “Progress in cancer research and care happens through collaboration,” said Sorena Nadaf-Rahrov, President and CEO of Ci4CC. “By integrating Oracle’s advanced technology with real-world data from our national network, we aim to drive initiatives that transform cancer research and patient outcomes.”
