Plexus Technology Group Presents Their Innovative Anesthesia EMR at PRACTICE MANAGEMENT™ 2018

Jackson, Mich.—Plexus Technology Group, LLC (Plexus TG), a fully KLAS-rated, market-leading, best-of-breed anesthesia information management system (AIMS) provider, is pleased to announce they will be attending the PRACTICE MANAGEMENT™ 2018 hosted by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), held January 26-28 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, LA. This event is the premier business event for physician anesthesiologists and practice administrators.

Per the ASA, attendees can explore the latest products and technology in the practice management industry, including state-of-the-art advances in practice management and networking with colleagues and experts in the field.

Plexus TG’s AIMS solution, Anesthesia Touch™, delivers clinicians an easily searchable coding module with full access to ICD-10 and CPT with crosswalks to ASA anesthesia codes. By having the option to select codes at the point of care, providers can ensure they are capturing the level of specificity needed for accurate charging and full reimbursement. Beyond being an anesthesia recordkeeping system, Anesthesia Touch ensures compliance with MACRA legislation by collecting the required metrics for the Quality, Advancing Care Information and Improvement Activities categories. Successful long-term compliance with MACRA involves submissions through a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) to support the unique requirements of the anesthesia specialty, which is easily achieved with the Plexus TG platform. Anesthesia Touch is currently deployed in over 500 operating rooms and is utilized by more than 3,000 users.

“We are seeing more and more interest from healthcare organizations and physician practices as they recognize the substantial benefits associated with implementing an AIMS. By automating the anesthesia record, billing offices not only receive a complete anesthesia record, but hospitals and clinicians increase their availability and quality of patient data for research and analytics, compared to limited availability offered by paper records,” says Tony Mira, CEO of Plexus Technology Group.

Please visit Plexus TG at Booth #130 during the PRACTICE MANAGEMENT 2018 conference in New Orleans.
