RosettaHealth Joins Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC)

RosettaHealth, an innovative and secure, SaaS-based data transport platform, today announced that it has joined Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC), a national collaborative representing health information exchanges (HIEs).

Through this new membership, RosettaHealth aims to enhance the exchange of patient health records to better allow healthcare providers in HIE networks to have automated access to clinical patient information in real-time through their electronic health record.

“By joining SCHIEC, we are aiming to help HIEs to ensure that patient information can seamlessly flow among providers’ electronic health record systems,” said Buff Colchagoff, CEO of RosettaHealth. “We are very excited about playing a role in helping SHIEC to support opportunities to advance health data interoperability solutions to HIEs.”

RosettaHealth will be joining the SHIEC Strategic Business & Technology (SB&T) group, which is comprised of technology ecosystem to educate HIEs on new innovation trends that enhance health data sharing across the U.S.

“Enhancing health data exchange for HIEs is a critical priority, and we look forward to working with companies like RosettaHealth to help meet this need in the marketplace,” said Kelly Hoover Thompson, CEO of SHIEC.

RosettaHealth works with HASA, the non-profit, community HIE for North, South and West Texas, and a number of other HIEs. The cloud-based RosettaHealth platform enables the efficient, seamless, and secure transportation of data and connects the ecosystem of healthcare for EHRs, hospitals, HIEs, mobile health apps, and analytics vendors.

The RosettaHealth team originally worked closely with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) defining and deploying standards, creating reference implementations, and establishing the fabric of interoperability that is expanding across the industry today.
