Physicians were asked to rate their EHR systems on a scale of 1 to 10 in key areas that matter to them: quality of care, meaningful use, patient portal, technical support, and clinical decision support. Data were collected from an online survey conducted from June 10 to 27, 2014.

According to the Medical Economics article, the top-ranking EHR system for quality of care was given to the Northwest Arkansas-based company, SOAPware.

SOAPware, a national developer of solutions for the healthcare industry, serves over 75 different medical specialties around the world. SOAPware originated from a core team of progressive thinking physicians, and is still lead by its original Founder, Dr. Randall Oates, along with other medical professionals.
