The Origins Of Modafinil And Smart Drugs Revisited

The Origins Of Modafinil And Smart Drugs Revisited

If you think about it closely, living essentially means constantly struggling to make life easier. The belief that tomorrow will be “better” gets you through today. But, what if I told you that scientists have found a way to make TODAY better? Useful source.

Having finally, or unfortunately, stepped into the adult world, the first thing that you have learned is that it can be point-blank exhausting. Families, demanding jobs, bills due yesterday, bothersome traffic jams, more work, more people to deal with… Frankly, at times, you just want to give up, am I right?

Stay tuned, because there appears to be a pill that helps you successfully manage your day-to-day activities. It is said to make you more productive and efficient, while keeping your stress level as low as possible. Hmm, a medicine that provides you with enough energy and puts a smile on your face? What, does it add more time into the 24-hour system?

Given the rightfully suspicious nature of humans, after hearing such a thing, your apprehensive reaction is completely normal and typical. That does not mean that it is correct, though. Knowledge is power. And before being the judge of anything, you should first acquire knowledge on that topic.

What Is Modafinil And Where Does It Come From?

Modafinil is what people today call a smart drug. It is primarily classified as a eugeroic, used to treat ADHD, sleep apnea and other sleep disorders. However, in recent times, it has become known as a nootropic, meaning that it is widely used as a cognitive enhancer by people who don’t suffer from any such disorders.

This medicine was first developed in France, thanks to the invention of benzhydryl sulfinyl compounds in the 1970s. This invention also resulted in the creation of experimental drugs used for narcolepsy treatments. Modafinil started being prescribed in the United States of America in 1998, under the name Provigil.

Is It Safe?

The first thing I’d like to say is that Modafinil is absolutely not addictive. The fact that it has been approved by the USA Food and Drug Administration speaks for itself. On the contrary, research has shown that it can be helpful in fighting against addictions. Furthermore, this medicine is known to have little to no side-effects at all. Of course, you should learn how to dose it properly and make sure not to overuse. Since, as any other thing you excessively and uncontrollably put inside your body, it might cause you to be sick.

Who Uses It?

Academics and students might have been the ones to first pop into your mind. And you wouldn’t be entirely wrong. It might be the latest wave of users, but it has long been in use by the military, pilots, truck drivers, doctors and more. Basically, anyone who feels that they could benefit from this generic drug.

How Does It Work?

When it comes to what this pill can do, I’d say – a lot. First of all, it enhances your short-term memory. Well, I can’t even remember how many things a day I forget. It would be nice, though, to remember that. Additionally, it reduces your feeling of tiredness. How would you like being able to work effectively for some long hours? And still feel fresh afterwards? I don’t know about you, but I cannot pinpoint the last time this happened to me.

Another important benefit of Modafinil is that it improves your mood. However, this might be due to the fact that you have enough energy to get through the day. Well, my decision is clear; I’m getting me some generic Provigil to make me happy about all the hard work I have to do.

Jokes aside, this drug clearly offers some tempting benefits, while guaranteeing no serious consequences. Apart from what I have already mentioned, it can increase your focus, improve your attention and boost your confidence. And, it is also known to be efficient in reducing social anxiety. Nevertheless, when you decide to use this medicine, make sure to use it properly. Remember, everyone can be affected differently. So, stick to the right does and, as anything else in your life, do not overdo it.
