TimiCoin/TimiHealth Supports Military Families and Veterans to Own and Control Their Health Records

VA

Timicoin/TimiHealth (www.timicoin.io), the first operating blockchain designed to empower every individual through easy to use tools within TimiHealth that allow you to own, control and monetize your personal healthcare information. Today TimiHealth announced that in the coming weeks they will be releasing Blue Button capabilities which will enable patients from the Veterans Affairs (VA) and military families in TRICARE health plans to easily transmit their personal healthcare data into the TimiHealth ecosystem.

There are over 9 million enrollees in the VA healthcare system and 9.4 million beneficiaries including service members and their families. TimiHealth understands the importance of quick access to medical history for our military service members and the additional value-add of allowing them to monetize that data if they so choose.

“We are proud to provide to those who have served or are serving our US Military, tools that enable every service member a way to gain greater controls over their data. What is special about TimiHealth is that it comes with the added benefit of being able to generate a passive income. We see that as a win-win for everyone,” said Joyce Lignell, Chairwoman of TimiHealth’s Advisory Board.

TimiHealth plans to provide a stream-lined process to upload health records via Blue Button patient records download capability available today. TimiHealth plans to also join the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record Health Information Exchange Initiative (VLER HIE) and eHealth Exchange to provide even more simplified transfer of health records into the TimiHealth ecosystem.

“Looking forward we recognize that healthcare is unsustainable in its current path. It’s clear to us that true, meaningful change must include each and every consumer of healthcare. By empowering the individual to have access to his or her personal data, an entirely different conversation can be had. One that focuses on choices – everything from where one receives care to the cost of that care to the optimal steps necessary to achieve the best personal health outcome,” stated the founder of Timicoin/TimiHealth, Will Lowe.

About Timicoin/TimiHealth:

The Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform provides decentralized healthcare data which can be accessed instantly from anywhere in the world. Timicoin/TimiHealth (Timicoin.io) is a patent-pending solution to securing patient data, while providing unprecedented portability.
