They can also offer health screening and give injections.

This career does not necessarily mean that you need extensive medical knowledge as you will be overseeing the entire operation to coordinate and manage the human resources, building, finances, and so forth. A good way to look into this career is by pursuing your degree online. The University of Southern California or USC online MBA program is a convenient and affordable way to prepare for this career.

However, an occupational therapist focuses more on everyday activities and helping their patients to be able to complete these activities on their own. These activities include things such as dressing, showering, and caring for themselves in general. A physical therapist works with those who have been injured or ill and need to improve upon their range of motion in a limb or joint.

Speech Pathologist

Speech pathologists work with patients who have had strokes, brain injuries, or have autism. They are responsible for evaluating the patients to make sure they don’t have difficulty swallowing and monitor any problems with speaking. Speech pathologists recommend any therapies and medical interventions needed to help their patients to improve upon these issues and work toward a full recovery.
