Topaz Systems as sponsor for NUCON 2015 achieves great heights of long association with iPatientCare in improving usability and empowering paperless operations in physicians’ practices.

iPatientCare, Inc., a pioneer in mHealth and cloud-based ambulatory EHR and integrated practice management solutions, announced Topaz Systems as one of the sponsors of iPatientCare’s upcoming National User Conference – NUCON 2015.

Topaz signature pads provide convenient way to electronically capture authentic handwritten signatures onto multiple consent forms at Check-In and within Patient Chart modules in iPatientCare application. This speeds up patient interactions, saves time and cost and reduces errors by removing the requirement of printing documents, get them signed manually and then scan them back in with signatures.

Topaz Systems offer three products that are compatible with iPatientCare: SigLite 1×5 T-S460 Series that is a pressure-sensitive electronic signature capture pad as a low cost option, SigLite LCD 1×5 460 LCD Series that is a pressure-sensitive electronic signature capture pad with an LCD display including backlight option for outstanding viewability, and SignatureGem LCD 1×5 462 LCD Series that is a rugged electronic signature capture pad with an LCD display, again with backlit option, and GemGuard anti-microbial pen. All three products are available with two choices of USB- interface options: HSB for standard HID connectivity and BSB, for virtualized and remote-usage connectivity.

“Topaz electronic signature pads have been integrated with iPatientCare for many years, and are the leading signature pads deployed overall in healthcare applications today. Our patented technology (more than 10 eSign-related patents), battery-less pens, rugged construction, along with GemGuard™ anti-microbial pen technology, provide outstanding benefits to all iPatientCare customers and end-users,” said Anthony Zank, President of Topaz Systems Inc.

“iPatientCare, is always striving to make the workflow within the medical practice easy and accurate. Our integration with Topaz signature pads have helped many practices to speed-up the check-in process by capturing the signatures on consent forms in a cost-effective and eco-friendly way,” said Shahab Shaikh, Enterprise Integration Specialist, iPatientCare, Inc.
