A new web-based solution from Proficient Health streamlines referral management by bridging organizational boundaries and previously incompatible systems.
Today, Triad HealthCare Network (THN), a physician-led accountable care organization, announced plans to link more than 900 physicians at 300-plus practice locations in a single HIPAA-compliant referral management system designed by Proficient Health.
The new web-based solution bridges the many incompatible technologies and systems used by members of the THN medical community. All practices will be able to communicate quickly and securely online – eliminating the time-consuming process of manually generating the referrals patients need for specialist visits.
Any THN practice can log into the Proficient Health system to initiate, receive and manage referrals. They can select and schedule a provider, share documents, organize and store information for easy retrieval, request follow-up details, generate reports and export information to their medical records platform of choice – all through a simple, easy-to-use interface.
