UCrest’s iMedic™ Establishes New Standard in AI-Powered Digital Healthcare

UCrest Berhad has achieved a major milestone in digital health innovation with the award of its first patent in Taiwan for its flagship AI-powered platform, iMedic™.

This patent marks a significant recognition of UCrest’s advancements in AI-based health management and telemedicine, reinforcing the company’s global leadership in digital healthcare technology.

The patent protects UCrest’s proprietary developments in AI-assisted diagnostics, personalized health analytics, and remote patient monitoring—key features that make iMedic™ a cutting-edge platform for seamless healthcare delivery across borders. By connecting patients, doctors, and medical institutions worldwide, iMedic™ enhances accessibility, efficiency, and quality of care.

At its foundation, iMedic™ integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and data analytics within a secure Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. This powerful combination enables personalized care, continuous health monitoring, and predictive insights for chronic and preventive care, setting new benchmarks in digital health solutions.

Over the past three years, UCrest has filed seven patents across key global markets—two each in the U.S. and Taiwan, one in China, one in Europe, and one under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), which allows protection in over 150 countries through a single application. This strategic approach extends filing timelines, reduces costs, and strengthens UCrest’s global licensing and partnership opportunities.

Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Eg Kah Yee expressed pride in receiving the Taiwan patent, stating it validates the originality of UCrest’s innovations. He emphasized that their global patent strategy reflects a strong commitment to establishing iMedic™ as a leading digital health platform worldwide and enhancing the company’s intellectual property portfolio.

Already in use across Asia and other regions, iMedic™ leverages advanced AI algorithms to analyze medical data, support clinical decision-making, and enable continuous remote patient care. The platform is helping hospitals, clinics, and providers improve operational efficiency, care personalization, and healthcare accessibility.

Looking forward, UCrest remains focused on driving digital health innovation through ongoing R&D and plans to file additional patents as it expands the capabilities and global reach of the iMedic™ platform.
