The new module, named “Concierge” for its ability to do work for you, streamlines backend business workflows that drive healthcare efficiency in billing and patient care.
Healthcare customers can now securely launch backend processes from their mobile device at the point of service, eliminating delays. Based on predefined workflows, users can text Concierge with the appropriate documents and images. Concierge then securely passes the information directly to internal business systems such as an EHR or billing system, departmental inboxes or distribution lists, file sharing services (e.g. Box) or cloud storage (e.g. SharePoint). Concierge automatically delivers documents as multi-page PDFs for processing, scheduling, access or storage. With Concierge, end users do not need to take the time to learn additional processes, thereby increasing throughput and efficiency, and saving organizations time and money.
Initially introduced to existing healthcare customers in the summer of 2018, Vaporstream Concierge enables organizations of all sizes to:

As an example, a field or front desk employee can take an in-app photo of a patient’s Medicare and insurance cards and send them directly to the billing department for processing via Concierge – simply by selecting a new recipient in an app they already use for clinical care coordination. All information is protected in transit and the original images are immediately removed from the employee’s device in accordance with HIPAA compliance standards and preconfigured practice policies.
