Vibrent Health Named Technology Business of the Year by Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce

Vibrent Health, a technology provider powering the next generation of precision medicine, today announced it was named Technology Business of the Year by the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce (DRCC). Vibrent was selected from dozens of companies in the Dulles technology corridor for its rapid growth and robust, cloud-based platform for personalized medicine and health programs.

“The convergence of science and technology enables personalized health treatments like never before,” said Praduman Jain, founder and CEO of Vibrent Health. “Innovations like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics can deliver new insights about an individual’s health – expanding the possibilities for medical breakthroughs. We are humbled to play a role in this shift toward data-driven health and look forward to strengthening Virginia’s position as a leader in the biotechnology industry.”

Vibrent’s flexible, software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform creates personalized health journeys for users. By securely combining data from multiple sources – including wearables, electronic health records, medical devices, patient-reported outcomes and more – it delivers evidence-based insights to help people live healthier lives. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) selected Vibrent to power its historic All of Us Research Program precision medicine initiative, an ongoing effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve disease prevention and treatment. In addition to NIH, Vibrent is trusted by industry leaders such as Johns Hopkins, American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Roche, Stanford, Veterans Administration, United Health Group, and Medtronic.

“The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce created the Technology Business of the Year award to recognize how the Dulles region serves as a central hub for technology companies,” said John Boylan, president and CEO of Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce. “We selected Vibrent Health to acknowledge the important role technology can play in managing health and because of the pioneering work they are doing in this space.”

Vibrent has expanded rapidly over the past few years and plans to hire another 70-100 high skilled professionals over the next year in areas such as data sciences, machine learning, health research, public health, big data analytics, cyber-security, wearable sensors, mobile apps development and business analysis.

“The state of Virginia has the second-highest concentration of technology work force in the nation, and we want to continue making Northern Virginia a great place to work in tech,” said Jain. “We are looking for individuals who are energized by the intersection of health, science and technology, and who want to empower others to live a healthier life.”
