Vidant Medical Group physician practices and clinics received Stage 6 designation of the HIMSS Analytics Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model. The designation honors the technology Vidant has utilized in improving patient safety and quality of care. Vidant Medical Group is among only 14 percent of providers across the country that have achieved HIMSS EMR stage 6 designation or greater. The designation was recognized for years 2014 and 2015.
