WellSky® launches Outreach Solution to enhance patient–provider connections

New solution meets growing need for streamlined patient communication amid increasing provider demands

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — November 5, 2025 — As healthcare organizations continue to face staffing shortages, rising patient volumes, and increasing regulatory demands, efficient patient communication has become essential. To meet this need, WellSky, a global leader in health and community care technology, has introduced WellSky Outreach, a scalable, no-code patient engagement solution powered by QliqSOFT.

In today’s home care environment, specialty pharmacies, home infusion providers, and DME organizations often struggle to connect with patients quickly—leading to missed appointments, care delays, and higher costs. WellSky Outreach solves these challenges with an automated, customizable platform that improves compliance, enhances satisfaction, and streamlines patient interactions.

“Providers are being asked to do more with fewer resources, and communication is often the bottleneck,” said Steve Ward, PharmD, vice president and general manager at WellSky. “WellSky Outreach automates key patient interactions, closing the feedback loop while saving time and reducing costs.”

The platform uses a chatbot and messaging system that enables tailored campaigns for refill reminders, infection surveys, and new patient onboarding. With two-way text and chat capabilities, care teams can eliminate time-consuming phone calls while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

“Phone tag with patients is a major pain point,” Ward added. “With WellSky Outreach, a smart chatbot automates common tasks in a way that feels natural for patients—dramatically improving efficiency.”

Now available as a standalone solution, WellSky Outreach features a campaign builder with logic tools, form creation, agent licensing, and setup support. It’s initially available to WellSky CareTend and CPR+ users, as well as other infusion and specialty pharmacy organizations seeking support for payer and URAC compliance.

“We’re proud to collaborate with WellSky to simplify patient communication at scale,” said Krishna Kurapati, CEO of QliqSOFT. “Together, we’re replacing endless phone calls with secure, two-way digital conversations that patients actually complete—delivering faster confirmations, cleaner documentation, and more time for care teams to focus on patients.”
