- A Boston-based electronic medical records provider is incorporating its system for anesthesia services at several Wichita health care facilities.Plexus Information Systems Inc. has launched its Anesthesia Touch information management system at Wesley Medical Center, Cypress Surgery Center and Surgery Center of Kansas. Galichia Heart Hospital is scheduled to go live soon.Wichita Anesthesiology Chartered provides anesthesia services at those facilities, and Plexus is now its vendor.
The Plexus system produces an electronic medical record of anesthesia cases and provides medical providers enhanced decision support based on national quality measures.
Wichita Anesthesiology is also working with Plexus Management Group, Inc., the parent company of Plexus Information Systems, as its practice management provider.
For Plexus, working with the Wichita medical providers is part of a westward expansion into other parts of the United States.
