As part of a special ambulatory care research focus on implemented EHR users, Black Book reveals industry trends and announced those vendors with the highest scores in client experience among otolaryngology physician practices.

Nearly 18% of ENT practices remain challenged to select and implement a first EHR system and 19% of early EHR adopters seek to exchange out original EHR choices according to Black Book survey participants. Users identified the ENT-centric applications that are delivering on implementation success, productivity, otorhinolaryngology workflows, outcomes, meaningful use achievement, connectivity and crucial stimulus fund requirements.

Through Q4 2015 to Q2 2015, otolaryngology/ENT including private, independent and large group practices has been one of the fastest growing market segments of new EHR implementations, according to Black Book polling with 79% of all ENT practices either executed, under implementation or are in the process of selecting a system.
