Physicians Practice recently released its annual Technology Survey, which surveyed physicians about their health IT use.
As part of the Technology Survey, Physicians Practice analyzed the responses of more than 1,500 physicians and practice managers across the nation.
Here are four things to know about the survey.
1. Approximately 74.3 percent of respondents said they haven’t noticed a return on EHR investment.
2. Almost half — 46.1 percent — indicated EHR usage is causing their practice to see fewer patients each day.
3. Fifty-nine percent said their EHR has improved documentation processes.
4. Seventy-eight percent of respondents said they use a mobile device to access their EHR.
This year’s Technology Survey was part of Physicians Practice‘s first-ever Tech Report.
