Castlight Health, Inc. (NYSE:CSLT) today announced that the Association of California Water Agencies Joint Powers Insurance Authority (ACWA/JPIA) has selected Castlight’s Enterprise Healthcare Cloud software platform to help the organization strategically manage its healthcare investment on behalf of almost 300 member agencies. Individuals who receive healthcare benefits from ACWA/JPIA will now be able to make more informed medical choices using Castlight.
Castlight’s contract with ACWA/JPIA expands Castlight’s already impressive roster of public sector customers including CalPERS and the State of Indiana.

Working with Castlight, ACWA/JPIA plans to:
- Engage individual members to become activated healthcare consumers, including rewarding use of high-value providers and providing one stop access to employer-provided benefit programs. In doing so, ACWA/JPIA aims to improve the health and financial well-being of the membership and support worker productivity across member agencies statewide;
- Educate and empower Preferred Provider Organization participants in both the traditional deductible and high-deductible health plans. Castlight software will enable individual members to make informed choices, making the most of their healthcare dollars; and
- Effectively communicate with the broad-based ACWA/JPIA membership, efficiently providing information to individuals employed by different organizations and located across the Golden State.
