Allscripts (Nasdaq:MDRX) client Alignment Healthcare rapidly deployed Allscripts TouchWorks EHR and Allscripts Practice Management software in 52 days. Allscripts will host and maintain the software and will provide Managed IT Services for Alignment Healthcare.
Alignment Healthcare, based in Orange, Calif., partners with providers, health plans and hospitals to create a seamless, fast and easy-to-navigate healthcare experience. Alignment Healthcare selected Allscripts as a strategic partner to help achieve its goal of better patient outcomes. Following the rapid implementation, the solutions are being hosted from Allscripts new data center, which includes 24×7 client support and application monitoring. This full package will enable ongoing service optimization and help position Alignment Healthcare for ongoing expansion.
Alignment Healthcare chose to have Allscripts host the software and manage its IT services to enable the healthcare system to focus on its strategic goal of delivering better patient care. Allscripts provided a package of modular, cost-effective services using best practices across Allscripts clients and more than 1,400 services professionals. This modularity enabled Allscripts to go live with a tested, bundled solution for Alignment Healthcare in only 52 days, rather than the several months standard to the industry.
