AnesthesiaOS & Dell Boomi Partner to Accelerate Cloud EHR Platform

pentek adds

Medical Information Records, LLC (MIR), creator of AnesthesiaOS™, a leading Azure cloud-based Anesthesia Information Management System (AIMS), today announced they are partnering with Dell Boomi to accelerate the market growth of AnesthesiaOS™. The cloud-based modular EHR platform, that seeks to standardize care by focusing on the mobility and replication of an enhanced patient care experience and not the mobility of a particular device and/or workstation, uses Dell Boomi AtomSphere® to provide integration between the AnesthesiaOS™ and a provider’s EHRs.

Accessible in operating rooms and medical offices via a web portal, personal computer or tablet, AnesthesiaOS™ creates a smarter workflow by enabling improved patient care while still maintaining documentation and compliance requirements.  Prior to partnering with Dell Boomi, AnesthesiaOS™ devoted enormous amounts of coding time to the integration capabilities of its platform and to customer integrations. These coding efforts also resulted in lengthy testing cycles. The resources and capital spent on these processes took focus away from other key areas, including market growth. The company also needed to reduce costs in order to support its growth initiatives.

“As a small company, we needed a tool that would allow us to accelerate our development, testing, and deployment processes,” said Dr. Christopher Ray, Chief Technology Officer for AnesthesiaOS™. “Dell Boomi was the perfect solution.” Nannette Ray, Chief Performance Officer for AnesthesiaOS™, added, “Dell Boomi has helped us streamline our processes and allowed us to scale faster, which means we can onboard more customers faster.”

With Dell Boomi AtomSphere, AnesthesiaOS™ can quickly tie its solution into a provider’s existing infrastructure, eliminating the time associated with custom-coding each customer deployment. This dramatically drove down deployment costs for AnesthesiaOS™ and shortened the time to value for customers. Another benefit of Dell Boomi AtomSphere compared to traditional integration approaches is that customers do not need to replace their existing systems, a costs savings for customers that elevates AnesthesiaOS™ above the competition. As a result of these benefits, AnesthesiaOS™ has experienced tremendous market growth.

“Like most cloud solutions targeted at the enterprise, the ability of AnesthesiaOS™ to scale its service and provide rapid time to value for its customers depends on quick integration with its customers’ applications,” said Chris McNabb, general manager at Dell Boomi. “By using the Boomi integration platform, and it’s healthcare features and functions such as HL7, AnesthesiaOS™ can integrate applications quickly and remained focused on improving patient care, market growth and reducing costs.

About AnesthesiaOS™
AnesthesiaOS™ was developed by anesthesiologist with the vision of advancing medicine by creating smarter workflows.  AnesthesiaOS™ is a cloud-based EHR that seeks to standardize care by focusing on the mobility and replication of an enhanced patient care experience and not the mobility of a particular device and/or workstation.  AnesthesiaOS™ enhances the point of care, not control it by allowing providers to easily complete an anesthesia record while focusing on the quality of patient care.  For more information about AnesthesiaOS™, please contact info@AnesthesiaOS.com for a demo and custom quote.
