Provider Selects HCS Interactant to Enhance Coordination of Care & Drive Quality Outcomes

HCS (www.hcsinteractant.com), a leading provider of an all-in-one healthcare information technology platform, today announced that BridgePoint Healthcare, LLC has selected HCS Interactant® as its enterprise EHR platform to help improve care quality, operations, and compliance across their network of hospitals.

Headquartered in Washington, DC, BridgePoint is a diversified provider of post-acute care in settings including long-term acute care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. They currently operate five facilities in both DC and the greater New Orleans area. The company is dedicated to promoting healing and wellness in a safe and welcoming environment, with an individualized path to recovery for each patient.

BridgePoint reached a point where not having an EHR was no longer an option. The company was seeking an EHR solution that would enable them to deliver exceptional care, leading to better outcomes and operational efficiencies across their organization. Additionally, they were seeking a solution that would uniquely meet their functionality needs as a multi-site LTACH provider. The solution had to be easily and quickly deployed with the ability to scale as the organization expands.

After thoroughly reviewing a number of EHR solutions, BridgePoint ultimately selected HCS Interactant as the solution that best fit the needs of a growing multi-site LTACH provider. In addition to its many capabilities, one feature that BridgePoint especially liked was that Interactant is the only solution that integrates the LTCH CARE Data Set within the EMR while providing users with enhanced workflow options to deliver patient-driven care. Furthermore, Interactant will give BridgePoint deep insight and analytics, enabling them to identify trends across their hospitals and make informed business and clinical decisions.

“We grew to a point in which having an EHR in place to ensure the delivery of high-quality care became critical. HCS has become synonymous with LTACHs. They have built a system that supports the unique rules and landscape that LTACHs need to be successful in a challenging time,” said Marc Ferrell, president and CEO of BridgePoint. “HCS enables us to centralize and standardize our organization through their platform architecture. This will be a major advantage for us to modernize our operations, expand and manage all of our locations effectively and efficiently while helping us deliver better and safer care to our patients.”
