Dec 10 : Latest Version of iMedX Mobile App Released for Physicians

iMedX, a leading health information solutions company and a leader in medical documentation solutions, today announced that it released the next version of iMedX Mobile™: an iOS app that enables highly secure, HIPAA-compliant medical documentation capture and access for physicians via iPhone or iPad anytime, anywhere. The solution is available in the Apple App store for free to physicians and other clinicians using iMedX documentation solutions.

The latest version of iMedX Mobile offers physicians and other healthcare providers a convenient and efficient way to document patient encounters using a highly secure, strongly encrypted app via iOS devices. The app provides physicians an efficient way to not only dictate their patient encounters but also interact with the patient schedule to ensure accuracy through a secure streamlined workflow.

“The new version of iMedX Mobile offers physicians the convenience and security they need to document their patient encounters using their preferred devices,” said Jeff Hopkins, VP of Engineering, iMedX. “Physicians and other clinicians are pressed for time in today’s fast-paced medical environment. They need easy-to-use options for dictation which do not compromise security or quality at their fingertips, anytime, anywhere. The iMedX mobile app for iOS offers physicians and other clinicians convenient dictation options with the encryption and streamlined workflows they need to make the best use of their time and ensure positive patient outcomes.”

iMedX Mobile enables physicians to dictate patient encounters via iPhone or iPad in a HIPAA-compliant environment. They simply select a patient via a schedule list and dictate their notes at their convenience using the encrypted app on the iOS device of their choice. The dictation then securely uploads through the iMedX cloud to be processed and added to the patient record. Further, iMedX does not require physicians to edit their dictations; iMedX provides back-end editing and other industry-leading best practices to ensure the highest quality medical transcription.
