Course Description :
The Pediatric Colorectal Scientific Meeting is a new conference that brings together national pediatric experts to discuss the latest research and innovative treatments for rare conditions such as anorectal malformations and associated anomalies, Hirschsprung’s disease, rectal prolapse, motility disorders, and fecal incontinence.

Course Objectives :

  • To understand the complexities of caring for children with colorectal and pelvic disorders and the necessity of multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • To identify opportunities for quality improvement within participants’ personal practices.
  • To recognize the importance of long-term follow-up care in pediatric colorectal and pelvic disorders.
  • To discuss the current state of the art in research, define future research agendas, and delineate collaborative multidisciplinary research efforts in pediatric colorectal diseases.
