HealthMEDX Partners with ProviNET to Extend Service Capabilities

Sisu Healthcare IT Solutions Wins Contract with Redwood Area Hospital

HealthMEDX, the leading non-acute EMR platform, will partner with technology services company ProviNET to offer extended help desk availability for users of the company’s software products. Officials from both companies noted that senior care market changes were driving the need for extended after-hours tech support as more round-the-clock senior care facilities adopt EMRs.

Leading non-acute EMR developer HealthMEDX® is pleased to announce a partnership with ProviNET Solutions, a nationally-recognized provider of managed senior care technology services. Leveraging ProviNET’s industry-leading Level 1 support team, the arrangement allows end-users of the HealthMEDX® Vision platform and its associated product suite to access IT-related support services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These everyday issues can include password resets, troubleshooting connectivity, and general HealthMEDX application support. In addition to creating and managing service tickets, the ProviNET Helpdesk staff will gather additional information to better understand the nature of reported issues and assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of those challenges.

“In today’s environment, having a support system in place for the front line staff is mission critical,” says ProviNET Chief Information Officer Carl Goodfriend. “Dedicated support services are proven to enhance the end-user experience, which will allow our clients to utilize these applications to their fullest potential. With patient acuity rising and so many providers transitioning from paper-based to electronic health records, he says industry-specific support demands are greater than ever before. Clinical providers are increasingly motivated to optimize EHR benefits while concurrently providing quality care for the residents for whom they are entrusted. To do this, Goodfriend says front-line providers must have access to an effective and user-friendly support system to assist with IT issues – whenever they arise.
