HRT Doctors Group announced today that it has launched and started accepting patients via it’s new telemedicine service specializing in hormone replacement therapy (HRT). HRT Doctors Group is now accepting patients across 45 States nationwide. The service provides patients with access to U.S. Board-Certified HRT Doctors leveraging a telemedicine technology platform to give convenient and affordable access to quality hormone related patient care.
The hormone replacement therapy segment has historically been addressed with local clinics offering a large number of products and services. HRT Doctors Group has built a telemedicine technology platform to provide patients with convenience only previously seen in concierge and VIP levels of medicine. The mission of HRT Doctors Group has been to improve the customer experience while providing quality care at a significantly affordable cost to patients.
For a $79.95 one-time fee, the customer experience begins with an email requisition being sent to the patient for a Quest Diagnostics comprehensive hormone blood test. This blood test will determine a patients current hormone levels and other key wellness attributes. The patient can make an online appointment to complete his or her blood test at any Quest Diagnostics location convenient to them. The Quest Diagnostics hormone blood test results are then sent electronically to both HRT Doctors Group’s physician electronic health records (EHR) platform and to the patient via our exclusive, HIPAA-compliant patient portal.
As a next step, an online appointment is scheduled to set up a phone or video call between one of our HRT Board-Certified Doctors and the patient. This virtual doctors visit is intended to provide our Doctors with an in-depth understanding of the patients symptoms, complaints, history, concerns, and to provide the patient with a complete understanding of their blood test results. If a hormonal imbalance presents itself, our HRT physician will recommend the best treatment options, and prescribe any pharmacy products that may be needed to help a patient achieve optimal hormone balance. Treatment plans for men and women are typically less than $200 per month, which include treatments, supplies, and access to our patient care team. This is less than half of the price charged by traditional HRT clinics.
As an included bonus, every patients immediate family members are provided access to the company’s general practice telemedicine doctors. These general practice doctors are available to address non-emergent conditions, recommend treatment and write short-term, non-DEA controlled prescriptions, when medically appropriate. HRT Doctors Group members will be able to access a general practice provider by telephone phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
