MedEvolve of Little Rock, a leading provider of software for medical practice management, has been deemed eligible for federal stimulus money after demonstrating meaningful use of its technology.
The Electronic Heath Record 6.0 certification program certifies that electronic health record systems meet meaningful use criteria for hospital technology.
The Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body program initiated the testing of MedEvolve.
“We are extremely excited about achieving the 2014 Meaningful Use Certification for MedEvolve EHR 6.0,” Dr. Bill Hefley, president and CEO of MedEvolve, said in a press release.
“Our development team has dedicated countless hours to finding easier paths for physicians, like me, to achieve meaningful use.”
MedEvolve provides electronic health records and medical practice management systems to improve hospital technology efficiency.
MedEvolve EHR 6.0 supports Meaningful Use Stage 1 and Stage 2 measures and is eligible for federal incentives.
Drummond research found MedEvolve to be in compli-ance with U.S. Department of Health & Human Services regulations, though results do not suggest an HHS endorsement.
MedEvolve EHR 6.0 is sold to eligible health care providers via a cloud-based system or through a client/server installation.
