MANITOWOC — Holy Family Memorial was recently named one of health care’s Most Wired hospitals, according to a survey conducted by Hospitals & Health Networks Magazine.
Winning hospitals are selected based on progress in adoption, implementation and use of information technology in four areas: infrastructure, business and administrative management, clinical quality and safety and clinical integration.
Holy Family Memorial received the award in recognition of their accomplishments in information technology as it relates to patient care, especially for their electronic medical record (EMR). An electronic medical record ensures patient safety and quality of care, by allowing providers to access the same current and accurate medical record at all points of care, according to a press release from HFM.
