Baraga County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital located in L’Anse, which provides health care for the residents of Baraga County and surrounding areas.

After going through a review of the physical facility, and public meetings to review the results of the studies which were performed by space and financial planners, BCMH constructed a new hospital facility on U.S. 41 in L’Anse.  The facility incorporates the physician offices into the hospital’s structure, along with a retail pharmacy for the convenience of our community members to allow for “one stop” medical care.  The new facility officially opened on June 10, 2011 and has been instrumental in allowing the hospital to expand its services..
