The mission of the alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs at Clearbrook Treatment Centers is to help the alcohol/drug dependent person achieve two long-term goals: abstinence from all mood-altering chemicals and a new way of living, free from the mental obsession. The final realization of these long-term goals is a lifelong pursuit. Clearbrook History:
Clearbrook Treatment Centers opened its first drug and alcohol treatment facility, The Lodge, in 1972, and began treating adults in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. In 1980, Clearbrook purchased a property in Laurel Run, Pennsylvania for the purpose of treating adults at this facility, while utilizing the Lodge in Shickshinny for adolescent drug and alcohol treatment. The new adult facility was named The Manor.
Dedicated and opened in June 2010, The Manor is our new 68-bed detox and rehabilitation facility, which provides a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere for those beginning their journey of recovery and healing. The 26,000 square-foot facility provides quality care to those afflicted by the disease of drug and alcohol addiction.
In August of 2010, construction began on a new state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen, dining hall, and clinical and administrative offices. As the years have passed, we have continued to enhance our property, both indoor and outdoor, to maintain an atmosphere of comfort and safety. On February 9, 2012 the building opened. As Clearbrook Treatment Centers look toward the future, it remains committed to providing effective clinical treatment in a caring and loving environment.
