Decatur Manor Healthcare is an Intermediate Care Facility for the chronically mentally ill. Our facility is licensed for 147 beds. We are the only ICF/MI within 85mile radius that cares for the mentally ill exclusively. Our facility is located at 1016 W. Pershing Road Decatur, IL 62526.
Decatur Manor Healthcare is located in the Heart of Illinois near many historical landmarks, restaurants, quaint shops in a charming historic business district. Decatur is a classic Midwest small city situated with homes and park areas facing Lake Decatur, and with many historic brick buildings downtown. Since it’s founding in 1823, Decatur, Illinois is a town known for its hospitality charm.
Decatur Manor Healthcare is licensed by the State of Illinois and is approved for Medicaid, Medicaid Pending, Veterans Assistance and many private insurances.

Decatur Manor Healthcare provides specialized services to individuals with mental illnesses. Our facility is not an institution, but a community; a community dedicated to providing an environment conducive to Recovery. Our focus is to develop and provide the tools needed by our residents to overcome the challenges presented by their mental illness.
Decatur Manor Healthcare provides different treatment modalities. They include medication management and ongoing education. It also includes individual and group therapies, coping skills and family therapy. A variety of groups are available to address issues such as communication skills, money management, symptom management, substance abuse, family issues and relationships.
Our professional staff meets with individuals in both group and individual sessions. Problems can be identified and interventions implemented to eliminate further problems and hospitalizations.
We are committed to assisting our residents in the development of positive behaviors and meaningful activity in a healthy environment that can help re-establish self-esteem and thus, assist with recovery and reintegration into the community.
