Kinematix builds wearable devices which extract knowledge from biomechanics to offer awareness and guidance to athletes to move better and efficiently during sports practice. Kinematix started its activity in the medical devices arena (formerly known as Tomorrow Options), accumulating knowledge and experience in building accurate and reliable devices to explore movement and biomechanics information. In 2015, to extract more value of that knowledge, shifted to the more dynamic wearable devices market, avid for a new generation of more powerful and meaningful products. Kinematix wearables go beyond gathering data, but use it to provide advice and indicate tangible actions to guide athletes from all levels, recreational or professional, to improve their biomechanics and performance. Headquartered in Porto (Portugal), Kinematix markets its products directly to consumers using primarily online retail. Kinematix has a subsidiary in Austin (Texas), in addition to offices in Sheffield (UK) and Waregem (Belgium).
