Operating Analytics Clevity

Operating Analytics’ founders – Ryan, Rick, and TJ – came together with a shared vision of providing great management tools to hospitals and surgery centers. After working with leading hospitals in New England, we began to realize patterns in the operational challenges that hospitals face. We also realized that the solutions hospitals employ do not always attack the root cause of these problems.

We learned that operating room management is complicated by many factors such as block schedules, equipment needs, and fluctuating demand.  However, we ultimately found that the complexities of optimizing operating room performance can be overcome by adapting management tools used in other industries to accommodate the needs of healthcare providers.

With several thousand hospitals and surgery centers in the United States and the increasing pressure on them to run efficiently, we know we have lots of work to do. But we’re ready. Our founding team is diverse in backgrounds ranging from hospital management consulting to aerospace engineering to entrepreneurship.
