• Therapies – Comprehensive rehabilitation program including physical, occupational, respiratory and speech therapy services.
• On-Site Convenience – Convenient access to outside courtyard, beauty salon, multi-specialty physician services, therapy, and our Courtyard Restaurant.
• 24/7 Nursing – We provide round-the-clock care assistance such as IV medication management, post surgery recovery, catheter and tube care, and 24-hour nursing.
• Integrated Services – As part of Southwestern’s Continuum of Care, the Southwestern Nursing Care Center is committed to our community by providing advanced medical care and services.
• Transitional Respiratory Care – Our Transitional Respiratory Care Program is not only designed to improve the clinical condition of our patients, but also to improve their quality of life.
• Mobility Assistance – Southwestern Nursing Care Center is ADA compliant.
• Activities – Residents are encouraged to participate in recreational therapy activities.

Post-Surgical Care – Our qualified staff oversees recovery needs from onset of illness or injury, or post-surgical recovery.0

At Southwestern Nursing Care Center, our Rehabilitation and Respiratory Therapy Department work diligently to ensure that as respiratory function improves, each patient is gaining competence and confidence in the skills necessary for returning home. Our team is committed to helping our patients achieve the best outcomes possible as they transition to greater independence.

At Southwestern Nursing Care Center, our Services are provided twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We are committed to our community by providing advanced medical care and services for individuals in need of post-acute care after a hospital stay, recovery from onset of illness or injury, surgical recovery or for those in need of care related to chronic disease management. Our interdisciplinary team is complimented by partnerships with physicians and other health care providers located in the Medical office Building of the campus or partnering South Hill’s and surrounding Pittsburgh providers.
