Boca Raton, FL – June 9, 2015Modernizing Medicine, Inc., the creator of the Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), a cloud-based, specialty-specific electronic medical record (EMR) system, announced today that the company has been named the winner of the Good to Great Awards in the “51-249 employees” category. The award was presented by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce at a luncheon on June 5.

“We are honored to receive this award, which is a true testament to both Modernizing Medicine’s internal and external growth within the highly competitive healthcare space both within South Florida and nationally,” said Daniel Cane, CEO and co-founder of Modernizing Medicine. “We are excited about the road ahead and are thankful to have such a dedicated team, which has made all of our success possible.”

The Good to Great Awards program recognizes businesses in the Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties that have proven they are making meaningful strides in achieving their missions and have demonstrated and distinguished themselves as industry leaders over the past four years. Judges select winners in four categories based on size (1-50 employees; 51-249 employees; 250-999 employees and 1,000+ employees).

This recognition comes shortly after the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce honored Cane as its “Technology Entrepreneur of the Year” and the South Florida Business Journal named Modernizing Medicine a “Business of the Year.”

Additional details about the “Good to Great Awards” are available on the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s website.
