Leading EMR Vendor Integrates With Health Gorilla Marketplace

Health Gorilla, Inc., the first online healthcare marketplace to connect doctors and clinicians, and Liquid Medical Office, Inc., a leading provider of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and HIE (Health Information Exchange) systems, have announced plans to integrate their cloud based services.

The CEO, Steven Yaskin said, “The integration provides a superior solution for clinicians. Medical practices depend on EMR solutions for access to critical patient information. But they are still relying on paper documents and faxing when dealing with diagnostic labs and radiology centers. Now, Liquid Medical Office and Health Gorilla can together provide any medical practice virtually any number of electronic interfaces, set-up for ordering and receiving diagnostic tests and results. We bind all of this together with secure messaging which can be used within each medical practice, or, can enable different clinicians in different practices to communicate. This is in sharp contrast to some of the ‘free’ EMR companies that try to charge doctors, or the diagnostic labs, perhaps $15,000 or more for a single interface.”
