maureen markey joins osehra staff

Please welcome Maureen Markey, Maureen Markey Joins OSEHRA Staff as Director of Membership and Marketing.  Maureen is an experienced healthcare marketing professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, advertising, branding, and social media strategies and tactics.  Her experience includes both for-profit corporations and healthcare associations.  During her tenure with the American Nurses Association (ANA) and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, she focused on marketing strategy and tactical planning for membership recruitment and retention, continuing education, conferences, publications, and healthcare quality and safety products and programs.  For example, she led marketing efforts for ANA’s National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators®, a nursing database used by hospitals to improve quality of patient care, growing the customer base to over 1,800 US and international hospitals.

Maureen’s primary responsibility at OSEHRA will be to drive the development of our corporate and individual membership base.  As we enter our third year of operation, we recognize the need to clarify and enhance our value
proposition for members in the public, private, and international markets.  Maureen will be working closely with both the business and technical staff as we broaden our membership and services.  We’re delighted to have her on board.
