Physicians Angels Releases White Paper on Best Practices Working with Virtual Scribes

Physicians Angels, Inc. – the leading provider of Virtual Scribe services – has released a new white paper, “Hiring a Virtual Scribe for Your Practice.” This white paper is based on Physicians Angels’ research and data compiled from a decade of experience working with dozens of medical specialties and hundreds of Electronic Medical Records.

Physicians Angels has made this research public to assist healthcare executives and decision-makers to better understand their options and best practices when choosing a Virtual Scribe company as a vendor and partner.

“Hiring a Virtual Scribe for Your Practice” lays out, in four steps, key areas of consideration for practice managers and executives in deciding whether or not to contract with a Virtual Scribe company. For example, the white paper details knowing what to ask about the company’s hiring and training practices with its Virtual Scribes – as well as what to ask regarding the IT integrity and security of the Virtual Scribe company’s Operations Center.

“Hiring a Virtual Scribe for Your Practice” also discusses the cost upsides to hiring a Virtual Scribe company versus an in-house medical scribe. And the paper discusses the downsides of contracting with a Virtual Scribe company that hires at-home employed Virtual Scribes when it comes to meeting HIPAA requirements and managing HPI safely.

The white paper is available now for download free at: http://www.physiciansangels.com/download-white-paper/
