Practice Fusion, ePatientFinder Have Announced a Partnership

partnership

Practice Fusion, an EHR vendor, and ePatientFinder have announced a partnership they said would create nation’s largest clinical trial recruitment network.

The Practice Fusion/ePatientFinder network enrolls patients into interventional studies focused on chronic disease. Physicians using the Practice Fusion EHR can see new clinical trials and learn which of their patients could be eligible.

“With over 56 million patient encounters in 2014 alone, Practice Fusion is the only EHR platform positioned to benefit millions of patients so quickly by making available clinical trial opportunities,” said Ryan Howard, founder and CEO of Practice Fusion. “Partnering with ePatientFinder directly serves our mission of empowering providers and patients.”

Practice Fusion said it collects data on 50 million patient encounters annually, which will allow users to expand clinical trial participation to millions of new patients. The company is based in San Francisco.
