Pulse Mobile 2.0 Brings EHR to Physicians’ Fingertips

physician practices

Pulse Systems, Inc., an industry-leading provider of Electronic Health Record (EHR), Practice Management, e-prescribing, Billing and Collections, and other Revenue Cycle Management solutions, recently released Pulse Mobile 2.0, a mobile app that enables physicians and other health care providers to access their patients’ secure medical records and view appointment schedules from their iOS smart phone.

“Pulse Mobile 2.0 exemplifies the vast potential of mobile solutions to revolutionize the health care industry when it’s in the right hands,” said Jeff Burton, Chief Executive Officer and President of Pulse Systems, Inc. “Through this new app, our clients can access our highly acclaimed solutions at the touch of a button, making it even easier for them to provide high quality care to their patients and ensure their practice is running as efficiently as possible.”

Pulse Mobile 2.0 was developed based on physician and client feedback and utilizes a simple and intuitive workflow to access patient record and schedule information. From the app dashboard, users can view items such as lab results that require physician review. Additionally, a robust patient search tool gives users access to patient-specific data such as previous or upcoming appointments, lab results, allergies, immunizations, current medications and more. Lastly, a schedule tab gives users an “at-a-glance” look at upcoming appointments for the day.

“We recognize that the increased demands and time constraints placed on physicians and other health care providers these days can be daunting,” Burton said. “Pulse Mobile 2.0 alleviates some of those challenges by equipping the provider with a version of his ‘office’ that he can take wherever he goes, saving him time and preserving limited resources.”

Pulse Mobile 2.0 is available in the Apple iTunes store. Only licensed Pulse users can utilize the app, using specific and secure login credentials to access patient information.
